The following people were pivotal to my journey; Master Albert Han, GM Kwon Mo Yun, Sensei Ben Lim, Bob Orlando, Andrew Carine, Oliver Salvador, Paul Vunak, Cameron Somerville, Brian Zarnett, John Koeshell, Joseph Simonet, Addy Hernandez, Sean Stark, Roberto Torres, Cliff Stewart, Tony Torres, Michael Janich, Dick Hilton, Jamen Zacharis, Rory Miller, Bob Carver, Nir Maman, Larry Yatch, Eddie Quinn, Adam Chan, Robbie Cressman, and Richard Dimitri. All of these men and women showed me an immense amount generosity of time, information, patience, and friendship, helping me grow as a teacher.
As for my movement, fitness, and flow exploration, I have been greatly inspired by the work of Ayda Ersoy, and David-Dorian Ross.
Coaching/Mentoring wise there are two people who have impacted my methods, Kamini Jain, and Constantine Arzate.
My philosophy of life comes from the sage minds of the Stoics. The study and practice of Stoicism is deeply important to me and I am forever grateful for the teachings and writings of Zeno Citium, Musonius Rufu, Epictetus, Seneca, Marcus Aurelius, Donald Robertson, Massimo Pigliucci, William B. Irvine, Ryan Holiday, and William Ferraiolo.
But none of this would be possible without the love and support of my Mom & Dad, my brother James, Brian. G, Syl, Mary, Brent.G, Shaun. H, Marcela, Tracey, James. M, Tyler & Carrie, Sandeep, and my sons Odin & Zeus.
I have a great deal of respect and admiration for the above-mentioned names, some of which I have had the privilege to learn from directly and some indirectly. One way or another I learned, borrowed and implemented something from each of them and am incredibly thankful for that. To all of you, thank you and know you have my sincerest gratitude!” – Matt Dyck, Founder
